SAIKILOID

What is SAIKILOID?

SAIKILOID is a portmanteau of SAIKI and VOCALOID. SAIKILOID is a voice bank for UTAU made with the voice of Saiki Kusuo, the titular character of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

How was SAIKILOID created?

I created SAIKILOID using voice clips that I ripped from Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan: Shijō Psi Dai no Psi Nan!?, a title on the 3DS. I took lines of spoken dialogue to create a full CV voice bank of the character Saiki Kusuo. I had to splice and stretch to achieve some things, and because it was not recorded traditionally, it sounds robotic and choppy, but it works well enough.

Will you distribute SAIKILOID?

I'm sorry, but no. Being a jinriki bank (a voice bank created using pre-existing audio clips without the voice provider's knowledge or authorization), redistribution is iffy, as I don't truly have the "rights" (copyright) to own the bank. If anything happens and anyone officially associated with Saiki K. or Saiki's voice provider comes forward and expresses disapproval of the existence of SAIKILOID, I want to be able to completely dispose of the bank and cease usage of it.
